Puzzles and Padlocks

is Jasper and Dubois County's

Premier Escape Room!

Our rooms provide immersive escape experiences

suitable for first time players and experienced players alike.

We created the uniquely themed rooms to be family friendly

and suitable for all ages to play.

We are open 7 days a week by reservation!

Our Story

Our story begins with an

EPIC FAILURE!!

We played our first escape room

and

failed to escape!!

Even though it was an epic fail,

It was FUN....and CHALLENGING...

and

there was that adrenaline rush

to finish before the time ran out!

Fast forward a few months:

 life circumstances happened....

it was time to unlock a new adventure!

Our area needed another fun place for all ages to play!

Families, groups of friends, and even co-workers

can "work" together:

solving puzzles, finding hidden keys, and unlocking locks

that all lead toward reaching a goal!

And this is where the story of

Puzzles and Padlocks Escape Room, LLC

begins!

Our Rooms

The Pirates of the Patoka

The Pirates of the Patoka cruise up and down the  167 mile length of

the Patoka River.

They plunder. They pilfer.

And they pillage

from city, town and village.

The captain, Patoka Pete, and his mateys have stolen 9 "pieces of 8" and have hidden them in our pirate ship.

Can you outsmart

the Pirates of the Patoka and find

all 9 pieces of gold before the pirates return and make you walk the plank?

Yesterday, we came into our music room, put some music on, cranked the volume up, plugged in the microphone and sang along (nice and loud..(well, maybe not "nice"....just "loud"--lol)...because no one else was in the building.

We went into the music room today and put some music on, turned it up really loud and went to plug in the microphone to sing along....but the microphone was missing!! Also, instruments are missing pieces, or are totally missing from their cases! Can you help us solve the Case of the Missing Music?

Save Santa's Vacation!

Santa's elves work the whole year...they work all night and all day

while Santa spends just one night in his sleigh.

Christmas is over, and they NEVER hear Santa say,
"Thank you, elves....well done...let's ALL go on vacation and have some fun!!
"

NO!!!

When Santa came back on Christmas day,

he told the elves to take care of the sleigh.

He was exhausted and needed to sleep,

And when he awoke, he was going away.

The elves heard the big guy exclaim

that the sun and the sand were calling his name!!

Now there were beach clothes to pack....not toys in a sack.

But before he could pack up his suitcase,

he needed to make sure all of his "Christmas things" were safely in place.

And since Santa didn't change his mind

about taking them to the beach so they, too, could unwind...

the elves hid Santa's "Christmas things"

so, Santa's vacation plans are running behind!!

Tomorrow is the BIG GAME....

the final game of the Play offs....

and Max's team is playing!!

His mom told Max he needs to get to bed...

he needs a good night's sleep before the game!!

So Max climbed up to his room and crawled into bed, but it was so hard to fall asleep.

He finally dozed off and fell asleep.

The next thing he knew he was at the game.

And it was a close game.....

It was the bottom of the 9th.

His team was down 5-3.

Runners on 1st and 2nd and Max was up to bat....

How did it end up??

Solve all the puzzles to determine how the game ends to win this escape game!!

Customer Reviews

My coworkers and I had a great time "puzzling" together at Puzzles and Padlocks! It's a nice facility and the "Missing Music" room was a fun challenge. I've been to escape rooms in big cities and those that are part of a big chain are sometimes larger and include more technology, but I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the creative puzzle design and level of challenge right here in Dubois County! I highly recommend it for a great night out with family or friends.

Our group had a great time! The puzzles were very clever and just the right amount of frustration. We all had fun and escaped with time to spare.
